Jonah Primiano is a Los Angeles-based animation filmmaker and educator. His rotoscope films combine selective graphite rendering and precise editing resulting in visually spare works that probe the relationship between image, culture, and meaning.

His films have been screened at festivals such as Slamdance Film Festival, London International Animation Festival, and Animateka International Animated Film Festival. In 2019 he began self-publishing the animation magazine Mostly Moving. He holds an MFA in Experimental Animation from CalArts and a BFA in Animation from the Savannah College of Art and Design.
